The Old Sleepy Eye Collectors Club of America
was formed in 1976 in Monmouth Illinois, home of the Western Stoneware Company, producers of the renowned Sleepy Eye Pottery. We are dedicated to the collection and preservation of all items related to the Sioux Chief, Old Sleepy Eye [Ish Tak Ha ba] and the Sleepy Eye Milling Company, once based in Sleepy Eye Minnesota. Hundreds of our members from all across America gather annually to discuss, trade and exhibit their collections.
